Public’s help sought for ’12 Teachers Supply Closet

Roane County Chamber of Commerce is starting the Teachers Supply Closet campaign earlier this year to allow donors to take advantage of back-to-school sales at area businesses.

The annual drive collects school supplies and monetary donations to help public school teachers and students in Roane County.

“This is the 10th year that Teachers Supply Closet has provided a one-day free shopping experience for Roane County’s public school teachers,” said Leslie Henderson, president and CEO of The Roane Alliance.
