A woman accused of stealing $206.89 worth of filet mignon by hiding it in her pantyhose pleaded guilty to shoplifting in Roane County General Sessions Court on Monday.
Annie Smith, 60, was sentenced to probation for a year and fined $100. Smith must also pay $206.89 in restitution and is banned from the Rockwood IGA.
Randy Harris, Smith’s co-defendant in the case, was also scheduled to appear on Monday, but court officials said he was a no-show.
The theft occurred at IGA on March 9 and was captured by the store’s security camera.
