Radical Regeneration coming to Harriman

-A A +A

Radical Regeneration, a community event organized to inspire hope and friendship within Roane County and surrounding areas, will kick off at 3 p.m. Oct. 30 at Harriman Riverfront Park.

Organizers said the event is designed to ensure that anybody and everybody can be accepted they way they are.

Festivities will include things for all ages. Bounce houses, moon walks, face painting, playground, cotton candy and games are planned for younger children.

For older youths, attractions will include live music, a Battle of the Bands and T-shirt giveaways.

Adults will be encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to see old friends, renew acquaintances and relax.

Free food, drinks, water and cotton candy will be available for the whole family.

Admission is free. A free shuttle bus will be provided to those who have to park across the street from the park.

Battle of the Bands is designed to generate an atmosphere of competition and  excitement in this opportunity for all area bands to showcase their talent.

Battle of the Bands will begin at 4 p.m.

Bands who want to be a part of the event are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible by contacting Josh Adkins at radicalregeneration@yahoo.com or 882-5802.
