Roane State Community College’s Oak Ridge campus will be expanding, thanks to $9 million in matching funds from the Tennessee Board of Regents.
This is combined with the $2.5 million the college raised, thanks to Anderson County and Oak Ridge.
“The Anderson County Commission pledged $500,000, and the city of Oak Ridge pledged $500,000,” said college spokesman Owen Driskill.
“We are incredibly grateful to all those who donated to this project,” said Roane State President Gary Goff.
