Renaissance Terrace plans bevy of events

-A A +A

An Oct. 28 health fair kicks off a number of upcoming events for Renaissance Terrace of Harriman.

The health fair, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the center on Patton Lane, provides the public an opportunity to hear about services offered by various area health-care providers.

Free health screenings will also be offered.

The center’s third annual fall festival will be the same day — from 4 to 7 p.m.

A variety of children’s activities are planned, including a petting zoo, a costume contest, trick-or-treating and inflatables.

Tickets for a weekend pancake breakfast will also be sold during the festival. Each ticket is $5.

Tickets will also be available at the door during the breakfast, which takes place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 30 in Buddy’s Bar-B-Q, Kingston.

Proceeds will go toward the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, which is scheduled for Nov. 6.

Call Angie Cox, Renaissance Terrace director of marketing and admissions, at 354-3941 for more about these activities.
