Boys Game

According to the Ten Commandments, you're not supposed to steal, but in the case of the Rockwood Tigers, thievery proved to work out well for them as they used 15 team steals to cruise to a 44-27 victory over the Yellow Jackets.

Rockwood started off the game with a 9-5 lead in the first period. The second period is where the Tigers truly trounced the Jackets, tallying a 17-5 surge to take a 26-10 halftime lead.

Cherokee got within 13 points in at the end of the third period with the score at 36-23, but down the stretch, the Tigers pulled away to take the impressive 44-27 win.

The Tigers had a 33-26 edge on the boards, but where they really did in the Jackets was a 15-7 tilt in team steals.
