New leadership staff on board

Roane Medical Center, Harriman, welcomes five leaders to expand services and enhance patient care at the hospital.
Crystal Barnett, a registered nurse, is risk and regulatory compliance manager.
She evaluates hospital systems and processes to enhance patient safety at Roane Medical Center.
Barnett also works with administrators and staff, along with outside quality consultants to ensure safe, quality health care in accordance with standards set forth by Joint Commission.      
Also joining Roane Medical Center is John Foust of Morrison Management Specialists, an outside nutrition and dining company that manages the hospital’s food services.
As the director of food and nutrition services, Foust works with administrators and staff to ensure that patients, visitors and employees receive qual-
ity foods of nutritional value.
Foust strives for customer satisfaction through safe and efficient use of resources.
He is a registered dietitian.
Sabra Coker, nurse supervisor, provides administrative guidance for the nursing department of Roane Medical Center.
Coker ensures the nursing staff meets all quality and regulatory requirements of the hospital
to provide patients with the best possible health care.    
Sandy Monday, infection control nurse, brings extensive expertise and skill to enhance recommendations for infection prevention and control.
Monday works closely with nurses, physicians and all hospital professionals.   
Also on the Roane Medical Center team is Shelia Staggs, certified case manager.
Staggs, a registered nurse, recently acquired certification for hospital case management.
As a case manager, Staggs provides personalized patient care and facilitates continuity of care during and after a patient’s stay at the hospital.
She and the case management team assist with various quality and clinical effectiveness initiatives.
Roane Medical Center, a member of Covenant Health, offers personalized patient care through its quality medical and surgical services, emergency services, prevention programs, rehabilitation support and health education.
The hospital staff has extensive expertise in specialized services that include diagnostic imaging, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and many others.
