Roane State, Tech expand teaching focus

Tennessee Technological University and Roane State Community College have expanded their 2+2 programs for teacher certification to include an option for those who want to teach in PreK-3 programs.

In Tennessee Tech’s College of Education’s 2+2 program, students complete an associate’s degree in two years at Roane State.

A second two years of study lead to a bachelor’s degree, with students attending classes taught by Tennessee Tech professors at Roane State.
