It could have been better, but it could have been worse for Todd Wright’s Roane State Raiderettes as they opened TJCCAA play over the weekend by splitting a pair of road games with Southwest Tennessee and Dyersburg State.
The road trip started with Roane State dropping an 84-67 decision at Southwest Tennessee Friday night, but things were better Saturday as the Raiderettes knocked off Dyersburg, 87-69.
Roane State will play two more conference games this weekend as the Raiderettes host Columbia State Friday evening and Jackson State Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
