The Roane State Raiders and Raiderettes played their first conference home games of the season Friday night and the results were mixed for the host teams as the Raiderettes downed visiting Columbia State, 87-67, while Randy Nesbit’s men suffered an 83-76 setback at the hands of the Chargers.
The Raiders and Raiderettes will step out of conference this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The Raiderettes played at Spartanburg Methodist on Monday while the Raiders will be at Wilkes College on Saturday and Spartanburg Methodist on Sunday.
