Rockwood is looking at what it can do with more than $600,000 officials believe will be coming from the TVA Foundation.
“If we can get together on some project I’ll be glad to pass it on to TVA,” Mayor James Watts said recently.
Watts said Rockwood Water, Sewer and Natural Gas officials have asked a portion of that money come to them for projects like inflow and infiltration in lines.
The remaining funds are part of an original $800,000 that was proposed to go toward a water interconnect between the Rockwood utility and Harriman Utility Board.
