Rockwood sweeps Spring City

After spending the first two weeks of the season on the road, the Rockwood Middle School Tigers and Lady Tigers opened the home portion of their schedule Monday night with a pair of victories over Spring City.

The Lady Tigers took the floor first and cruised to a 41-6 victory. Rockwood’s boys then finished the sweep by knocking off the Bulldogs, 37-28.

Rockwood played at Cherokee on Thursday and will now be off for two weeks before hosting Fort Loudon on Thursday, Nov. 29.
