Rockwood wins season opener

With eight starters returning from last year’s team that finished third in the state in Class A, the Rockwood Tigers are hoping for even more in 2008. The Tigers took the first step toward that goal Monday with a season-opening, 8-5 victory over Class AAA foe Rhea County.
