Roane State Community College has received a $194,505 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that will help the college upgrade equipment for its dental hygiene program.
Roane State’s dental hygiene program is based at the college’s Oak Ridge campus.
It prepares students to become registered dental hygienists.
The campus also offers continuing education for registered dental assistants and registered dental hygienists.
The grant will allow the college to offer students access to state-of-the-art equipment.
