Efforts that create opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles are an integral part of the educational process and enhance academic success.

The race/walk beginning and ending at Fort Southwest Point has been sanctioned by USA Track & Field.

Medals will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place finishes in each age division, and plaques will be presented to the male and female overall and master’s champions.

Age divisions include 0-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and older, with male and female categories in each division.

Those who enter by Oct. 19 will receive a race T-shirt and gift bag. Participants entering after that date will receive shirts and gift bags on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
