Ruppe kicks off state senate run in Roane

Democrat state senate candidate Becky Ruppe brought out some party heavyweights for her stump through the 12th District late last week.

In Kingston, U.S. Rep. Lincoln Davis, state Rep. Dennis Ferguson and state Sen. Tommy Kilby all joined Ruppe for the stop at the old Roane County Courthouse.

“I’m supporting her because I believe she can get the job done, knows how to get the job done and will work to get the job done,” Davis said.
