Sams carries load in Kingston win

Kingston’s James Sams rushed for 226 yards and three TDs on 20 carries Friday night in leading the Kingston Yellow Jackets to a 41-21 Region 2-AAA victory over the Scott Highlanders.

Friday’s victory was huge for the Jackets as Kingston is now 7-1 overall and 4-1 in region play. The wins should also be enough to secured Kingston a spot in the upcoming TSSAA Class AAA playoffs.
