Frayed and ripped jeans may be the style nowadays, but they’re banned from the classroom under Roane County Schools’ revised dress-code policy.
The revamped policy forbids clothing with holes, rips, frays, tears or cuts.
The Board of Education unanimously approved the revised policy late last week. The revisions had the full endorsement of the board’s policy committee.
