Keevin Woody is the new elementary education supervisor for Roane County Schools.
He replaces Gary Aytes, who took over as director of schools on July 1.
Woody had served as principal at Midway Elementary School since 2003.
Prior to that he was an assistant principal and teacher at the school.
Aytes said interviews for the Midway principal position will begin Friday and continue into next week.
