After Friday’s deadly school shooting in Connecticut, Roane County Office of Emergency Services Director Howie Rose said he hopes there is a renewed vigor for being as prepared as possible for those kind of events.
“There’s so much confusion that ensues anytime something happens at a school,” he said. “You have so many outside responders that are coming in. You have so many objectives that you have to accomplish that it’s quite complicated.”
