Kingston Public Library will host a photographic exhibit and sale, “58 Landing: Through the Lens,” from Sept. 15-Oct. 15 during regular library hours.
The exhibit features photographs taken by photographer Terry Futrell at the 58 Landing Park in Kingston and includes colorful sunsets over the lake as well as action shots of ducks and gulls.
The exhibited photographs may be purchased by the public, with all proceeds benefiting the library.
“While many people take advantage of the walking trail through the park, these photographs provide a sample of the sights that can best be experienced by pausing to observe and enjoy the park at a more leisurely pace,” Futrell said.
Kingston Director of Library Services Steve Jacks suggests that the photographic exhibit provides an excellent opportunity for residents to visit the library and explore all that it has to offer Roane Countians.
The library, which serves as the information center for Kingston and surrounding communities, offers a variety of programs and services for all ages and demographics.
