See Spot fly: Frisbee dog competition coming to Kingston

-A A +A
By Katie Hogin

Kingston will host the 2011 Skyhoundz Canine Disc Tennessee State Championship May 14 for the first time.

Hounds of all ages and breeds will compete at Fort Southwest Point for a spot in the national competition, which was held in Chattanooga last year.

“It should be a fun event,” Kingston Parks and Recreation event coordinator Debbie Russell said. “We’re all dog lovers here.”

The department has also been looking to create a dog park in Kingston for residents and their four-legged friends to enjoy.
