Senior citizens picnic scheduled for Oct. 7

Mid-East Community Action Agency welcomes area seniors to the annual Roane County Senior Citizen picnic on Oct. 7.

The picnic will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Roane County Park shed 2.

“Area seniors can look forward to a day filled with good food, entertainment, bingo, door prizes, vendors and a cake walk,” said Amber Jacks, Mid-East senior service director. “Plan to bring a side dish if you are able.”
