The ballot could look rather skimpy for Roane County's general election in August.
The filing deadline has come and gone for candidates, and some current officeholders will likely run unopposed in their re-election campaigns.
Road Superintendent Tom Hamby is the only candidate who filed for that position.
Current school board members Darrell "Drack" Langley (District 2), Franklin Mee (District 2) and Mike "Brillo" Miller (District 1) are all up for re-election.
