Sr. open house Thursday

Roane County ElderWatch and Mid-East Community Action Agency’s Senior Services Department will host a senior open house from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 2 in the Mid-East office at 1362 N. Gateway Ave., Rockwood.

Activities will include entertainment, refreshments, senior services information, door prizes, bingo, games and crafts.

At 10:30 a.m. the winner of the World Elder Abuse Awareness Poster Contest will be recognized.

All area seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend. Call 354-0450, Ext. 228, to register.
