Students explore careers during an ‘awesome’ day

“The career fair is awesome,” said one high school student about the recent Roane County Chamber of Commerce’s High School Career Day.

Almost 500 juniors from the five Roane County high schools spent their morning exploring wide range of careers, educational opportunities and what it takes to get a good job in today’s job market.

In its fourth year, the 2012 Career Day had almost 60 organizations participating with more hands-on activities for the students than ever before.
