Supplies sought for victims of hurricane

Big Emory Baptist Association and Remote Area Medical are teaming up to fill a tractor-trailer with supplies for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Nov. 25 at the trailer, which is parked at Big Emory Baptist Association’s office at 1216 Ruritan Road, Harriman.
Items needed include blankets, paper towels, baby food and diapers, soups, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, toys and stuffed animals and coats.
No water or clothing will be accepted.
Donations will be delivered to the New England area Nov. 26-27.
