Morgan County Commissioners have adopted a budget for the 2008-09 fiscal year but it wasn’t exactly the budget that the budget committee sent forward.

The budget does not include “big raises” for a select few supervisors but it does give all county employees a two-percent pay increase.

Some commissioners like Susie Kries explained during Monday night’s meeting that the budget committee considered some increases “pay adjustments” rather than pay raises.
