Tennessee State University graduates & dean's list: spring 2012

Jamie Pierce of Harriman is among the graduates at Tennessee State University during spring commencement.

Pierce received a bachelor’s degree in arts and sciences.

Pierce was also on the school’s dean’s list for the semester.

Students named to the dean’s list have achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher in 12 or more semester hours taken for a letter grade.

With more than 9,000 students, Tennessee State University is Nashville’s only public university.
