Thanks to paper, reporter, for news on hospital effort

On behalf of the Veterans Council for the Roane Medical Center Conversion Project to transition the facility to a veterans hospital, we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Roane County News for its willingness and interest in publicizing information regarding the project.

We would like to especially thank Cindy Simpson with the Roane County News for her hard work and support to make sure the information was relayed in an accurate and timely fashion.

She, along with her paper, has been a tremendous asset in helping to keep everyone informed.

Also, we greatly appreciate the efforts of other various media throughout the area for their support as well. These outlets, along with the Roane County News, have done a great service in the communities they serve.

Lastly, we would like to thank the veterans, family members, friends, state and local leaders, Roane Medical personnel, and other interested parties for their support and attendance throughout this project.

We have not completed our objective as of yet; however, with continued community support and perseverance, we will continue to work to achieve the conversion goal.
