Tigers bit by Bulldogs

Rockwood's Tom W. Evans Gymnasium is considered a tough place to play for opposing teams, but the Wartburg Bulldogs didn't think so Tuesday night as the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs picked up a road sweep.

The first game of the evening was close in the first half, but Wartburg used a big third quarter to build a 15-point lead then the Lady Bulldogs held on in the fourth quarter for a 41-34 victory.

The boys game was a high-scoring battle with Wartburg using a late jumper from Alex Fountain to pick up a 69-67 victory.
