Tigers downed by Bears

Friday night was a rough night for the Rockwood Tigers and Lady Tigers as both squads suffered losses at Tellico Plains.

Fifty-three was the lucky number for Tellico Plains as the Lady Bears knocked off Rockwood, 53-35, and that was followed by Tellico Plains snapping the Tigers eight-game winning streak, 53-47.

The Tigers got another shot at the Bears on Tuesday as Tellico Plains visited Dr. Tom W. Evans Gymnasium.

Rockwood will be on the road again Friday when they travel to Grace Christian.
