In starting the season with six straight victories, the Rockwood Tigers had given up seven runs combined while posting three shutouts.
Friday evening, however, the Tigers gave up more runs than that in the seventh inning alone as Upperman downed Rockwood in a slugfest, 21-15.
Friday’s game was a roller coaster with both teams doing a lot of damage on offense.
Upperman scored first with a run in the top of the first inning, but the Tigers answered in the bottom of the frame with two runs.
