As part of a continued commitment toward catering to all customers’ pet needs, Tractor Supply Co. is launching a PetVet Clinic to protect pets by providing all of their vaccination needs.
Tractor Supply’s PetVet Clinic, operated by PawsPlus, will be available beginning this month at the Rockwood store at 1494 N. Gateway Ave.
For information about clinic dates and times, call Rockwood’s Tractor Supply Co. at 354-0446 or visit www.petvet.pawsplus.com.
“Our new PetVet Clinics are another way Tractor Supply is delivering on our commitment to be the best pet supply store in our communities” said John Wendler, Tractor Supply senior vice president of marketing.
PetVet Clinics will be offered a minimum of once a month.
The clinics will offer individual and comprehensive vaccine packages for rabies, bordetella and parvo, as well as microchipping and heartworm tests and prevention.
Each Tractor Supply PetVet Clinic, operated by PawsPlus and available only for dogs and cats, will be staffed by a state-licensed veterinarian and a service team.
No appointment is necessary to participate, and there is no examination fee.
To further ensure a customer-friendly experience, pet owners will be able to register on their personal handheld devices and then shop in the store until they receive a text message indicating it’s their pet’s turn for the service.
Digital records of the inoculations will be kept, and clinic attendees will be advised when their pet’s next vaccination is due.
Tractor Supply Co. operates more than 1,223 stores in 46 states.
PawsPlus offers services for nearly 350,000 pets annually in 20 states.
