A 39-year-old man was charged with promotion of methamphetamine on Feb. 16.
According to a Roane County Sheriff’s Office report, Shane Ellis Wyatt was a passenger in a car that was stopped on Hwy. 72 because the driver, Reggie Davidson, had an active warrant.
“In Mr. Davidson’s vehicle I found a black bottle with a bag of white powder inside believed to be methamphetamine,” the report said.
The report said the officer also found two small hoses, duct tape and a bottle of brake fluid.
