Tennessee turkey hunters passed the 30,000 harvest mark for the 12th straight year during the spring season which concluded last month.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reports that the 2014 harvest stands at 32,495. The harvest just slips past the 2013 total of 32,489.
Sportsmen faced inclement weather on several weekends during the season. That especially included the opening morning of the season when rain and cool temperatures were present in most areas of the state.
