Veteran gets help with helping hand

Kelly Gibson, the marketing director at Victorian Square in Rockwood, said one thing sticks out to her about area veterans.
“Around here, they take care of each other,” she said.
That was evident on Feb. 18.
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 86 presented Victorian Square resident Jack Adkisson with a check for $230.
The money is for a deductible Adkisson needed to pay for a bionic arm.
