Friends of Oak Ridge Natioanl Laboratory’s luncheon lecture will begin at 11 a.m. April 8 in the UT Resource Center, Oak Ridge
Hans Vogel, speaker for the session, will discuss heating, fueling and cooling the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor project at ORNL.
This will be the second in a series of three talks on the U.S. ITER project.
Vogel has more than 20 years of progressive experience working in technical, operations, management and project capacities in the nuclear field. He served at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as the senior project manager for the Strategic Projects Division.
Vogel is a certified project management professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Nevada-Reno and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Washington State University.
The April 8 meeting will start with socializing and coffee at 11 a.m. A catered lunch will be offered for $8 per person at 11:30.
The lecture begins at noon, with a question-and-answer forum at 12:45 p.m.
