Want to help at hospital?

Roane Medical Center is looking for some eager volunteers to help provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patients and visitors at the Harriman-based hospital.
A volunteer recruitment day will be from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m. April 8 in the RMC Annex.
“Volunteering is such a rewarding experience, and I would recommend it to anyone,” volunteer Peggy Young said. “Helping others opens a window of opportunity that, in turn, shows you how blessed you are.”
