Wartburg plays Loudon tough for a half, falls 42-0

WARTBURG - Wartburg's once promising season has taken some twists and turns along the way. With nearly ten starters missing with various injuries and facing the second best team in Region 2-AA (Loudon), the Bulldogs put together probably their best first half of the season before dropping a 42-0 decision to the Redskins last Friday night.

Wartburg only trailed 2-0 during the initial 20 minutes of the game and was down 16-0 at the break before Loudon (6-2, 5-0 in Region 2-AA) pulled away for the road victory.
