Watts wins in Rockwood, Beets, Hepler retain seats

In unofficial returns Tuesday night, James L. Watts will be Rockwood's new mayor, Troy Beets held on to the mayor's office in Kingston, as did Chris Hepler in Oliver Springs.

Peggy Evans will become the first woman elected to the Rockwood City Council, leading all other candidates in the voting. Joining her on the council will be Bill Thompson and Stan Wassom.

On the Harriman City Council, winning candidates were incumbents Lonnie Wright, J.D. Sampson and Chase Tedder, as well as C.M. Buddy Holley.
