Waves, Devils suffer setbacks

Tuesday night was a rough night for Midway’s and Harriman’s basketball teams as both suffered sweeps.

Midway’s losses came at District 3-A opponent Grace Christian while Harriman dropped a pair of non district home games against Wartburg.

Both girls games were close as Midway lost, 44-41, while Harriman dropped a 35-32 decision.

The boys games weren’t as close as Wartburg picked up an 83-67 victory while Grace Christian knocked off Midway, 76-54.
