Roane County Trustee Wilma Eblen isn’t the only elected official who would like to see raises for employees included in the next budget.
“I would love to see them get a raise,” Register of Deeds Sharon Brackett said. “With the economy, everything is going up and everybody is having a hard time.”
Officials are still in the early stages of putting together a budget for the next fiscal year, which starts on July 1.
