The old saying goes “It’s a new season” when the postseason begins.
If Friday night was any sign of a new season for Harriman, then the Blue Devils could go deep in the tournament.
Chris Works took the mound for the Blue Devils and put up a demanding 12 strikeouts for the contest and did not allow a run in a 3-0 win for Harriman over Tellico Plains in the opening round of the District 3-A Tournament played at Paper Maker Field.
