Workshop covers financial, tax issues relevant to clergy, church

Area clergy, ministers, church personnel and their advisers are welcome to attend an upcoming free seminar on financial and tax issues.

The seminar will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 10 in Tennessee Tech University’s Multipurpose Room at Roaden University Center, Cookeville.  

 Matters covered will include tax issues facing ministers and churches, best practices for handling ministry-related expenses, determining and documenting housing allowances of ministers, and new reporting requirements due to recent health care reform.
