Workshop focuses on writing contract proposals

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Roane State Community College will give a workshop that covers how to write proposals for government contracts.

The workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 3 in The Foundry at 747 World’s Fair Park Drive, Knoxville.

The workshop is a cooperative effort between the Roane State center and PQC Solutions.

Speaker Kirste L. Webb, owner of PQC Solutions, will discuss a variety of topics, including where and how a proposal fits within the selling cycle and the proposal development process from preplanning to post proposal activities.

This workshop is designed to provide tips and techniques to develop a high-quality response and to ultimately win the business for both those who have extensive experience in the profession, as well as those new to proposal development.
