Wrong year for Morgan change

Roane County Property Assessor David Morgan made a mistake when he changed the 2011 appraisal on the Regions Bank building in downtown Harriman.
Former property assessor Teresa Kirkham said it’s an example of his inability to do the job.
According to county records, the building was appraised at a little more than $2 million for the 2011 tax year.
Kirkham lowered it to approximately $1.5 million for the 2012 tax year.
