Zach Breazeale named District 3-A player of the year

The 2008 season is over and 20 Roane County baseball players have been recognized for their excellence on the diamond.

Harriman and Rockwood had the most success this season and 10 players from Harriman and Rockwood received all-district honors.

Rockwood tied Harriman for the District 3-A regular season title and the Tigers won the District 3-A Tournament on their way to the TSSAA Class A State Tournament. For their efforts, Joey Cofer’s squad had six players named to the All-District 3-A Team.
