Rolland “Rollo” McNelly of Midtown joined the elite ranks of bowlers who have scored a perfect 300-point game. His feat at Midtown’s Tri-Cities Lanes was accomplished with a ball given to him by Betty Maples, the facility’s owner. “When the pins fell, it was a great feeling,” McNelly said of that final frame that cinched the game. “I’d like to have another one — someday.”

Head Start is a federal early childhood program that promotes school readiness from ages birth to 5 in low-income families by enhancing cognitive, social and emotional development.
It provides a learning environment that supports children’s growth in language and literacy, cognition and general knowledge, physical development and health, social and emotional development and approaches to learning.
