Friends of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Oak Ridge Heritage and Preservation Association will have a forum to update the public on the K-25 historic preservation efforts of U.S. Department of Energy Environmental Managemen.
The forum will be March 12 in American Museum of Science and Energy, Oak Ridge. Light refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. The program will start at 6.
Extension is a national educational program supported by USDA through the nation’s land-grant universities and administered with funding from state and local governments through offices in each of the state’s 95 counties.
County Extension offices across the state are planning various celebrations and commemorations for the state’s 105-year-old Extension program.
